As a huge star wars fan,I have read quite my share if comics. I really love reading comics because its basically a adult picture book in my mind. It allows the readers to read something and give an visual at the same time. One reason I really love star wars is that the action to action shots are phenomenal. I love reading about the wonderful stormtroopers and the empire (yes I do very much love the dark side). I guess what sets star wars apart from all other comics is that it has SO MANY elaborate different characters. Overall, I have read many of the comics and I cant love them more.
I started watching Star Wars in 8th grade and I really developed a liking for it as well. Although clearly you have a love for it. I agree that comics are an adult picture book in an acceptable form for adults to read and not be called childish, especially the political ones.

ReplyDeleteI remember watching the old movies as a kid with my family. Absolutely fell in love with the series and all it's characters with each movie I watched. I never really got around to reading any of the comics on the other hand though, although I'm sure they were fantastic as well.
ReplyDeleteI honestly can say that I have never been into star wars. I never really watched any of the movies. The way you are so passionate about stars wars though is really awesome! To me it would be hard to remember so many characters but I have to give some credit to you for being able to do that and remember all of them.
