Blog #4

Dear Juliana,

At this time you are probably reveling in your naiveté and making sassy off-hand comments about how much this is going to suck. Well I’m here to tell you that you were wrong. There was a lot of work, no doubt. But you made a few really cool friends and got stuff done. Playing soccer with the kids at the Kid Fitness Fair and staying up way to late will stay fresh in your mind, along with all the diligent studying and research of course. You got to learn about an array of diseases in Issues in Biology and how to better organize papers in Do The Write Thing. In the end, you gained 4 credits towards your future and 12 service hours while having a lot of fun.  Although you may not have enjoyed every second of it, you created a memory that you won’t soon forget.

  1. This was such a great blog! I completely agree with you. The work was most definintly worth it. I loved having you as a suitemate and getting to see you grow over the period of two weeks. Its incredible to see how much people can change in a short amount of time. You were a really hard worker, but still managed to be upbeat all the time and I love that. Best of luck in your high school years that are left.
