I have not had much experience with comics. I have always been around them but unfortunately have never picked one up. My father and brother however have a huge collection of comics from the 70s- the 80s. Every comic book is in a sleeve to protect it from the outside world. My brother has been interested in comics for years, the expressions on his face while reading spiderman is pure joy. There collection has collected to over 100 comic books, each individual comic holds a special place in their hearts, I one day wish to find the love for comics just like my father, and brother.
That's really cool that your dad and brother love comic books so much. Reading is a great hobby and comics make it much more fun to read because all of the pictures. The good thing about comics is that it is acceptable for adults to read, unlike picture books.
