Dear Vanessa,
You would not believe how much you are going to learn in
these two weeks. I bet you would have never thought that writing four
thoughtful essays would be feasible but you accomplish it! I feel ready for my
first AP English class next year because of how I have learned to clearly state
my ideas, look for underlying assumptions and address them, and properly format
my papers in MLA style. Also I bet you would have never thought that you would
read comics and learn about how they are a great medium for storytelling and
the thought process behind creating them. I hope you take with you all of the
arguments about college and put that into action when you begin to apply for
scholarships and colleges. All in all, this course will be a great experience for
you and will help you grow as both a writer and individual.
