DC Comics

I couldn't believe  I ignored all the DC comics in my room for four years. I became bored and picked up these comics, and they lit up my world. I also read all the graphic novels piled up in my room too. These novels include Batman: The Long Halloween, and The Sinestro Corps War. The comic circling around Batman, the Dark Knight, is a story revolving around the hunt for a serial killer dubbed "Holiday", as Batman fights off villains and mobsters. The comic about Sinestro is a revenge story. After Sinestro gets kicked out of the Green Lantern Force, he creates his own Yellow Lantern Force to combat the Green Lanterns. Both of these comics are filled with action packed adventure, and are riddled with suspenseful moments. These comics remind me of when I used to play with action figures all day long as a child. When I read comics like these, I can be a kid again, free from judgment and juxtaposition. Overall, I think all comics are great not just DC comics and graphic novels such as the previous two examples. Cartoon strips, manga, and doujinshi are just as exciting as the comics I prefer. I hope I never stop reading comics and always continue to expand my horizons.

  2. It's great to see you have such a passion for comics and DC in general. The nostalgia you receive from reading them is quite relatable from back when I read spider-man comics as a kid.

  3. I am so happy to see that someone finally understands sinestro!! He gets kicked out because he used fear tactics and not will so his light became yellow and he introduced fear into the world! DC is what rocks man. Marvel can't hold their jock.
