I really love reading, writing and research. As a librarian's daughter, I grew up in a world of fictional and nonfictional texts. In this course, I expect to do pretty well. I will put forth my best effort to work hard and critically analyze the information given without the two week course. I feel that in this course I will really do good on the analysis and critical thoughts portion. I really love to dig into the meaning of texts and articles and that is a big reason why I think I will really advance in that area. I used to be in UIL readywrite which pushed the limits of texts analysis for competition. Something I might not do as well on is my grammatical writing or typing. I feel like in classes at school I have been limited to 28 lines like the STAAR test and havent got to really explore longer answers, usually it was short and concise. I feel like my past has really strengthened me in ways of analysis and critical thought processes, but limit me to the length and grammar of my ideas. Im super excited for this class and hope to have fun!

  1. The fact that you have had so much experience with writing is amazing! If ever i have a question or concern about how something should be written i know that i can come to you as a back up if others are not available.

  7. Wow, it is great that you had such an early start. I wish I had the passion for books like you do. I try to get into it, but I get overloaded by all of the books in one library.

    1. I totally understand. I would say pick a topic you are very interested in and focus on that. Its okay to not like libraries at well. The concept of having hundreds or thousands of books in one spot is overwhelming to me as well. I hope you do really well in the course and I wish you the best of luck!
