Reading, writing and research are not my strong suit.
Although my mother is a Librarian I have not had much experience with writing
or reading. I have been to three different high schools and have failed to grasp
the concept of writing a good solid essay. I have several ideas and thoughts in my head
that I would like to put down on paper but may not exactly know how. During the two weeks of this course I plan to
set my goals high and succeed in this class. I have a creative mind set and
expect to do well on the ideas and concepts of my writing pieces, although I
may need extra help on the revising, editing and organization aspect of the
paper. With a more prospective of the writing field I am hoping to come out of
the two weeks feeling more confident and excited about my future essays and
papers to be turned in at TLU.
There are many people who go through the same issue but unlike them you are willing to go out and beyond to achieve greatness and better your writing abilities. To me that's true dedication and i applaud you. I wish you the best of luck in this class and hope that you walk out a better writer. :)
ReplyDeleteI can help you to edit and revise if you want. For those ideas, I recommend just putting them down, you can always revise them later.
ReplyDeleteI'd always be willing to revise your papers or be someone you can bounce your writing ideas off of. I know it can be difficult to grasp concepts when you've moved around a lot. I had a similar situation with math. Just remember that practice makes perfect and that there are people in class willing to help you if you need it.
ReplyDeleteWriting isn't one of my strong suits either. I know one thing that has helped me with my writing is just to just practice. I've seen improvements in my writing so maybe that will help you too. I hope all goes well for you!
ReplyDeleteThat's good that you are trying to fix your problems with writing. I used to have a hard time trying to figure how to write a proper essay. Finally my freshman year I had a really good teacher that taught me a lot. If it wasn't for him I would still be struggling with it. If you ever need help you can always come to me!
