I have always been good at writing in a creative style, not in a sense of "informative" styling though. My creative stylistic approach to writing leaves me vulnerable when I type about something that is supposed to be to the point and no help to make it more interesting. I have had a problem with this because I tend to let my mind wander and it sometimes seems it's required in my mind for me to spice up on what I'm writing using different words to describe things to where it sounds almost make believe though it is not. Starting off with this course in the first couple days I am nervous that I will struggle a bit on writing in this sense but I know that I will give it all no matter how hard or simple this class will be in the next two weeks. I know that I have the ability to speak very well and if I can put it down on this blog and the rest of my writings I am sure that I will succeed to the best of my own abilities and to me that is all that truly matters.
It's great that you have such a creative mind! Not a lot of people have one and these days many people are all about writing that is too the point. I have a feeling what you bring to the table, with the help of the rest of your classmates, that you can improve your "informative" writing style to match the ability of your creative approach to your writing.
ReplyDeleteMany people assume that essays are not creative whatsoever but I find that essays can be very creative in diction and presentation. I find it intriguing to think about the ways that I can capture my reader's attention and cause them to keep reading, especially an essay! Of course you must be sure to not cross the fine line but once you practice essay writing more, I'm positive you will get the hang of it!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely agree, it takes time to get the hang of it. Writing is one of the hardest things, at least for me, to learn. I always went in to my writing teacher and she always told me to just try my hardest and it will eventually I will get it. Just like you will!

DeleteI agree completely. This is one of the hardest things to get. I never was able to get Grammer correct and I still do not! I was always told by my wonderful English teacher that I would eventually get it. I have started getting better and learning the ways though! Just keep it up!
